The last of the “Twilight Walks” & farewell to Daylight Savings.
Everyone arrived nice and early and we managed to start our walk at 4.00pm as planned. Thirteen walkers including 5 new faces), enjoyed the late afternoon sun and green rural scenery on a 6-7km walk.
We all had a good time just walking and chatting. The bush track was
amazingly green. We had a perfect day: sunny, warm, no wind.
Almost home I called Bill to put the sausage rolls and pies in the oven ready for us. Not only that, Bill made up some extra savouries and marinated chicken nibblets.
We finished off with sweets, coffee & tea. It was getting dark and cool be the time everyone went home.
