Mudgee Cycle Classic

This weekend Saturday & Sunday 3rd & 4th May, will be the Club’s 5th year involved with the Mudgee Cycle Classic. Of course promising many things for many people: Cyclists will enjoy the breathtaking scenery while they conquer their respective distances on both Saturday and Sunday. Mudgee’s Glen Will Sports Complex will once again serve as the official event village.

The Bushwalking and Bike Riding Club Inc along with other groups such as the Mudgee Rotary Club are involved again this year in assisting with the Classic on Sunday with duties such as encouraging cyclists along the way at rest stops & marshalling duties. So a massive thank you to those volunteers “rain, hail & shine” and good luck to those members and all cyclists participating in this event. The Classic serves for our local groups some much needed fund-raising and thank the Classic Event for this opportunity. Go Mudgee I say – Have a great weekend.

All community information including what’s on in the Event Village, course routes, and changes to traffic conditions can be found here https://cyclingclassics.com.au/mudgee/community-information/

Note: We encourage all members to enjoy the event village (Glen Willow Complex), which is open over the weekend from 10am – 4pm. There will be music, food, exhibitor stalls and special treats and entertainment. We take this opportunity to wish all involved in a successful weekend in whatever capacity you choose. Note: Please all take care on the roads this weekend! Volunteers your Hi-Vis gear will be imperative and as I imagine the cyclists will endeavour to be safe and be seen. Posted to website/FB by JM.
