A good roll-up for the first walk & talk activity: Well it was a walk & an introductory gear briefing.
Thank you to three very experienced members; Melanie Trethowan, Eric Caswell, Feroz Wani, who were on hand to share their knowledge in addressing the wide range of gear that is on offer to assist in walks; either it being a day walk or a multi-day walk. Addressing the later as 12 members are heading to NZ to walk both the Routburn and Milford Tracks, while 20 members are heading to Kosciusko to take in all that the area has to offer- later this month. (We wish them all well on their upcoming adventures).
Thank you to all those that attended and I am sure that you all enjoyed a very informative briefing. I know that we will all have learned the tricks of tying our laces for future walks……
