Dunn’s Swamp (Ganguddy) Wollemi N/Park. Report.

Walk Report for Sunday 4/12/2022 by Leader Victoria Mcadam

“One of my favourite places in the world, always beautiful, full of wildlife and flowers. I’m sure I speak for those who enjoyed our walk from the campground through to “Franks Farmstay” today. Home to the world’s most amazing cattle loading ramp. A good day was had by all. Perfect weather and company. Our thanks to Cheryl and Michael for their access and hospitality. We walked, talked and when I can hear the sounds of people up ahead or down the track laughing – I know things are going to plan.”

Participants: 17 members Distance walked: 9.3km (From campground to Kandos weir (built 1920’s) then through private property access for lunch & loading ramp, and return. B group walkers took an alternative route through (3.5km) to main road for vehicle pick-up by main group). Leader(s): Victoria Mcadam and Karen Riley.
