We have been talking about going to NZ since the Three Capes Walk in Tasmania in 2019 where we talked to some of the other walkers on the track about great multi day walks in NZ. Then Covid surfaced which put everything on hold. Eric has still the urge to tackle the Routeburn Track, 33 km’s long and is the shortest of the Fiordland great walks. Queenstown – Milford.
Located in Mount Aspiring National Park and Fiordland National Park in the Otago and Fiordland regions
Opening Dates for the 23/24 season will be available at the end of March 2023. No costing details at hand. Duration 5 days/4 nights. Including accommodation in Queenstown on day 1 and day 5. Transport ex Queenstown to and from the walk. 3 Day walk with 2 nights in Department of Conservation Huts. This is a self-guided tour with Cabin Style accommodation and shared facilities.
Passports are required to return to Australia. Please refer to emails re New Zealand.
