Gibraltar Range and Washpool N/P (Report).

Multi Day walks and adventures; involving camping and motel accommodation to suit. Dates: Friday 27 October to Tuesday 31 October 2023.

Report from Gretha: “We have had three fantastic days in Gibraltar and Washpool NP. Distance walked approx 35km through very diversified landscapes. The highlights included lots of Waratahs, rainforests, good views and rocks to climb. Lots of birds, including bowerbirds who enjoyed jumping into back of our cars looking for food. Also some spotted quolls entertained us during the night, even got into someone’s tent 🤣.

The tracks were very well maintained. The tent sites were excellent; with some having running cold water. The amenities where excellent with flushing toilets and cold showers (some of the team also had a swim in the creek). The weather was perfect, not too hot. All in all I think I can say from all the team – fantastic few days” & PS: “Everybody used their tongs appropriately.” Author’s note: So what happens at camp stays at camp –
