Hello Everyone; to all club members and families, hope you have all been keeping safe & managing the COVID-19 crisis as best as you can. Thank you to those members who have been keeping in touch with me and Elly and each other through this journey.
We are all hoping we will be able to explore the countryside once again as a club when it is safe to do so.
In the meantime:
The committee will be reviewing and informing members of any updates due to the COVID-19 and hopefully we will know so much more during May. In the meantime:
All current walks and activities will stay suspended until mid June as a minimum.
Our AGM and next Quarterly General meeting is currently set down for 10 June 2020.
We will confirm with members late May, and review restrictions and if AGM is postponed liaise with Department of Fair Trading, to ensure the club meets with the requirements. In the meantime until an AGM is held all current executive and committee members will continue in their current roles.
For the month of May: I would like to encourage each club facebook member to post a picture of their favourite walk/destination and ensure the date is in the message please. ie pre Covid-19 date.
