A joint activity: Club Activity: Walk – Ride
(join in on one of the club’s Annual walks), with addition to include the rider’s (Mudgee-Cooyal for lunch).

Activity Description:
1. Walk: Castle Rocks Trail (Munghorn Gap Nature Reserve)
with time to explore. Meet-up with the bike rider’s at the Cooyal Hotel establishment for lunch. (optional) Club Grade: Easy/Medium=3, Walk Distance: 8.5k+= return
Meeting Place: Lovejoy Street carpark (Douro Street entrance) for registering.
Meeting Time: 8:30am and/or re-meet: Castle Rock carpark -Time: 9:15am
2. Ride: Enjoy a bike ride to the Cooyal Establishment. (to meet-up with the walking group)!
Club Grade: All bikes welcome, road bikes and e-bikes., Ride Time: a leisurely 1.5hr
Meeting Place: Robertson Park, Market Street for registering.
Rider’s Meeting Time: 10:00am Don’t forget to RSVP –

Travel Notes: Travel via Ulan Road & Wollar Road for approx 1/2 hour+ = 35km, -Mudgee to Castle Rocks carpark (Castle Rocks carpark is approx 5.5km past the Cooyal Hotel).
Bring your own Morning Tea (M/T) and enjoy on the walk perhaps on the pogodas and return in time for refreshments at the Cooyal Establishment.
Castle Rocks is an all-time favourite of the club and has spectacular views from the pagodas whilst enjoying the flora and fauna along the way.
What to Bring: Club equipment will be on hand, please bring own first aid kit, hydration and PPE for walking/riding. M/T & lunch if not ordering from the Cooyal Establishment.
