Where – just visiting the hills around Mudgee lately as recent walks; Mt Bocoble, Mt York, Mt Knowles and then this one on private property. Spring Flat area with a Spring Flat Ridge conquered. Access via member David & Christine. As promised within coo-ee of the Mudgee.
The morning was a little ‘brisk’ however this did not stop 28 participants for this gathering at the Lovejoy Street carpark meeting point at 8:30am. Noticeably the variety of beni’s on heads. Leader(s): Victoria McAdam and David & Christine. (thank you)!
Walk Report: by Victoria McAdam “A perfect Sunday for a walk at Spring Flat. Thanks to David and Christine. 28 happy people. A moderate walk of 8 kms. Ups and downs with a great view over the Mudgee area while we ate lunch. Some Stunning colours around for this time of year, Can’t beat being out walking along a creek for a few hours. Everyone home and safe by 2 ish. We welcomed some new faces, Jane T, Narelle K, Leon O, and so happy to have Charlie and his dad Don S, come along. The Bush Walking club is for all ages –noting within the walk description.”
