Report by Joby: “Two historic passes! & some site seeing! Mount York where! Mt Victoria (Hartley Vale) Sunday 11/6/23 weather frosty start with sunshine all day! Lockyer’s Track campground great area to start todays walk ascending Lockyer’s historic mountain pass to meet-up with B group (approx 7kms) for a lunch & a slice of birthday cake. (Happy Birthday Elly) then as promised a decent descent via the Cox’s route (approx 4kms). Leader today was Bill Webster – A dozen walkers appreciated the historic briefing -thanks to Bill & Matt for also doing a recent reccy. Welcome new member & participant Sue Munns.
