Walk: Blackfellows Hand Cave, Lidsdale

Today: Blackfellows Hand Cave Lidsdale and beyond. The club; (16) visitors and members, walked around the Maiyingu Marragu Aboriginal Place explored a few caves and wandered up the track to settle for a lunch with a view of the pagodas. Abundant variety of flora and fauna to be seen. Perfect bushwalking weather.

Walk at Blackfellow Hand Caves – near Lidsdale on SUNDAY 16 JUNE 2019
Directions: from Mudgee we drive to Lidsdale on the Castlereagh Hwy, turn off towards Newnes on the Wolgan Road for 11km turning right onto the Blackfellow Hand trail.
We leave the vehicles in a cleared bush area, then enjoy a shared morning tea.
Take our lunch and explore the area, including Aboriginal rock art, pagodas with views and enjoy the company of others for lunch in the bush.
The walk is easy 4km approximately. It will be a great day (weather permitting).

Meet at Lovejoy Street at 8.00am for carpooling and the paperwork.
Bring morning tea to share, lunch to eat, water to drink.
Comfortable walking shoes and your energy.
