Hello dear members – Your end of month JUNE activity is approaching… Walk: Mt Knowles – Where: Mudgee – ‘just in view of Mudgee’ Weather permitting.
Date: Sunday 25 June 2023 Meet: Lovejoy Street carpark (Douro Street end) Time: 8:00am Leader(s): Bill Kempton & TBA
Details: Walk will start at eastern end of Melrose Road (private property). Bill will advise on Sunday at meeting point, the exact location. Walk Description/conditions: Walk along some exposed ridge lines, some formed tracks, some ‘bush bashing’ with some steep grades. Total Walk Distance: approx. 12km. Grade: Difficult Map ref: Mudgee. Reccy done 21/5/2023.
What to Bring: Bring a packed lunch for ‘along the way’, water. Walking pole(s) needed. What to wear: Its imperative on this walk to have ** sturdy walking shoes/boots, no decent shoes = no walk……. Hat, suitable clothing. With every walk activity the club’s equipment will be available at the discretion of the leader. (note: club orange flag required to indicate turn-off)
