Walk: Cobbora Area “Journey of Discovery”- Walk will incorporate fire trail walk in Cobbora Conservation area.
Depart Mudgee Time: 7:30am from Lovejoy Street carpark, car pool to Dunedoo. (re-meet): White Rose Cafe Dunedoo at 8:45am (Toilet/Rest area opposite-/History Display/coffee), then a 15km drive to Cobbora- visit Cemetery, quick history talk 9-9.45am and a further 8km drive to Cobbora Conservation Area. Park cars inside reserve enjoy a shared morning tea-while walk equipment sorted. 10.30am- Walk Options- 2,5,8km- meet at Cobbora cave for lunch 1.00pm (Walk is on fire trails through a once state forest and former Bengadee Sawmill- Predominately Iron Bark, Sheoak and Wattle. A possibility of spotting Glossy Black Cockatoos. Bring your Binoculars for the Birdlife and Magnifying Glass for the flowers. Return to Cars 2.45pm Return to Dunedoo 3.15pm, return to Mudgee 4.15pm
